1. What to know before activity starts: 

• Understand the purpose: Introducing students to the studio, building process, available materials, and studio themes. 
• Familiarize with safety tutorials and demonstrations for material handling. 

2. What to expect throughout the activity: 

• Students will learn about cardboard construction, gather materials, and then work at their desks in pairs to create a mythical seas creature that uses at least to of the construction techniques
• Emphasize creativity, exploration, and collaboration during the building process. 

3. What to expect at the end: 

• Students will document their process by posting images and videos of their invented sea creatures.
• When they share their creature with the class, they should identify which cardboard construction techniques they used.
