Who is Rube Goldberg, anyway?

Rube Goldberg (1883–1970) was a Pulitzer Prize-winning American cartoonist, inventor, innovator, and the only person whose name is an adjective in Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary.

A Rube Goldberg Machine® solves a simple problem in the most ridiculously inefficient way possible. Their funny functionality invites us to think more deeply about machines and mechanized processes, gadgets and technologies, and the very human ways in which we use them.

Watch some Chain Reactions!

؜When you design your part of the Chain Reaction City, you will have to:

1. Receive an input from the group ahead of you
2. Set off a series of events in your own section
3. Send an output to the next group to activate their section
